by Dan Empfield, August 31, 2015Jan Frodeno rode and ran away from the competition to capture the 2015 Ironman 70.3 World Championships. Daniela Ryf dominated the women’s race.
While Frodeno and Ryf created fireworks in Austria, the Weekend Box brings Challenge action in Canada, an XTERRA battle in England, and a fine 48-year-old in France.
This year we left Eurobike early because of the 70.3 Worlds, so this is our final daily gallery from the popular annual trade show.
The 2015 Ironman 70.3 World Championships will take place in Zell am See in Austria, and it is a stunning venue. Enjoy these images captured two days before the big event.

Finding himself without a road bike, Jordan Rapp worked with Toby Stanton of Hot Tubes to create an homage to World Bicycle Relief’s Buffalo bike, based around Litespeed’s classic T3 titanium frameset. Built up with a SRAM Force1 drivetrain.
Looks like another Javier Gomez-Jan Frodeno-Sebastian Kienle showdown in Zell am See, although Tims Don and Reed, the Raelert Brothers, Kiwi Bozzone and Aussie Appleton will dispute.
